Our master craftsmen do some of the most beautiful hand-tooled leather in the world. This instantly recognizable art-form goes back generations. Unlike shallow-depth mass-produced tooled hides from overseas, each piece from our shop reflects depth and beauty that only steady nerves and concentration of the artist can deliver. Your case will deserve every ounce of admiration it is sure to achieve.

We start with the finest vegetable tanned leather from US tanneries. The artist selects each piece for it's texture and grain, and slowly begins the process of designing and hand-tooling a pattern to fit your case.

In the larger photo above right is a case for a Nikon D300 that has been hand-tooled in an oak-leaf pattern by David Acton of Estes Park. Dave has been working leather for over 60 years. He apprenticed just after the War (II) with some of the industry greats, and has been working the trade ever since. When you own one of Dave's works, you carry on a tradition that has portrayed the Great American West for hundreds of years.
