Custom made to fit your Nikon D-700 or D-800 while being backward-compatible to other Nikons in the lineup. While the leather hard-shell pentaprism (bump) accomodates your camera, the case also fits D50, D80, D90, D7000, D200 or D300, with a little room to spare in the flash area. As on the D300 series, we add a "trigger guard" on the lip of the holster with a notch that protects the camera's function buttons located in the finger-tip grip area of the camera body. This allows the buttons to "float" while the weight of your camera and lens properly rests on the lip of the holster. Fits camera body with many fixed and zoom lenses. Interior case dimensions in lens area are 3.5" (89mm) wide and a little over 6.0" (152mm) deep from lip of holster (where your fingertips grip the camera) to bottom of case.
