What's the Difference Between Your Leather "Case" and a "Bag"?

A "bag" is usually soft and has no structure on its own. A "case" is semi-rigid and has structure. If you've ever held an old-fashioned binocular case, you've held a true leather "case".

Prior to assembly, we "case" our leather parts using specially tanned leather, using water and high-pressure jigs and molds. Each part of your case is designed to conform to a side of your camera. When the leather dries, it is semi-rigid and has structure, and when we stitch the parts together you get a true "case" - a semi-hard shell - which protects your gear inside.
